TL;DR Generac Generators are nice when they work. If you have issues during the warranty period or during the extended warranty period if they get you to purchase that, good luck on getting it fixed. I purchased the 2016 model of this unit, its had 10+ months of open trouble ticket time with greater than half of that time waiting on parts. Some of the parts are even available here on amazon for under $20 (US). Look else where they have customer service that rivals Comcast in being bad.
