These sponges are a fake. They are not Scotch-Brite.
When I opened this package of sponges, they smelled of chemicals, which is not right. And as you can see from the photo the brand new sponge on the left has no texture on it -- the real Scotch-Brite is on the right. Scotch-Brites are textured, so it cleans well. I should have been suspicious when they came rubber-banded together, instead of in a box as they had before. These sponges are a fake.
