The slide out drawer was a good "idea," but a bad design. There is a ~1/8 inch gap between the seat and the drawer. That gap is in a bad place for a bit sitting down. My son has peed on this potty 5 times. 4 of those have resulted in 80% of the pee going through that gap and leaking all over the floor from the inside. I accidentally left our son's potty at his grandparents after a visit. I ordered this one since it was inexpensive and had good reviews. I have started a return. I will say that my son loved the handles/back rest and it is study built. Unfortunately it holds pee like a sieve.
