I bought the Tap when it had almost all the features of the Echo. The obvious advantage of the Tap was the rechargeable battery so I could take it around the house and in the backyard. I gave up some speaker size for the mobility. I thought I made a wise decision and was very happy with it, but unfortunately, it’s been left behind and is not getting the same updates as the rest of the Echo family. The reasoning that it’s not an Echo device is lame. It’s name is still the Tap even though you don’t have to tap to wake it anymore. Obviously the name doesn’t mean anything. While the other Alexa devices were given multi-room functionality, I’m left wondering why I wasted my money. Then again, even if I could trade for an Echo, I probably wouldn’t because I don’t want to be tied to a cord. If anyone at Amazon is listening, give Tap users all the features of the Echo!!!!
