Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I purchased four of these in October, and as such, mine probably have a few months more usage than most of the reviewers on here. I implore anyone reading this to throw these things in the trash immediately before they put their homes and families at risk. With nothing else plugged in, and nothing else even on the same circuit from the breaker box, one of these shot out an intensely hot and forceful flame from the grounding receptacle of one of the plugs. Burned my thumb and my sweater pretty good. Took it apart, and it looks like it could have been a burst capacitor. Feel free to check out the pictures. I don't care one iota about defect rates, if one unit did it, any of them could do the same. Furthermore, I've since learned that my fire insurance wouldn't have covered a fire caused by an electronics product that lacked safety testing. I loved these things, but all four have now been replaced with Belkin's version. "Disappointed" would be an understatement.
