It worked for about three weeks, during which I was very satisfied with the system. However, it started to drop connections. First, the beacons would drop, and I would have to power cycle them. Then, the eero itself dropped internet connection. I had it wired (i.e. connected directly to modem port) to the Cable Modem, which never had any issues (i.e. not a modem issue). I power cycled the eero, which worked for a couple of days. However, it dropped again, and won't reconnect. Even if it did reconnect, it is too much of a hassle to have to repeatedly power cycle the units. The installation app is cute... but wish it had more information. Once you place the beacons, all it said was "You placed that like a Pro!" You know grade inflation is a "thing" when your consumer products are this effusive. :) I wish it would report on TxRx power (i.e. provide quantitative feedback on signal quality, power, BER, any metric really), but the app developers apparently wanted the unit to be "consumer friendly". In conclusion, when it worked, it worked very well. But I need a stable network (no other tech savvy users in household). Returning today.
