Complete crap
It's probably 3X
The dial that says 50X to 1000X is just the focus knob, it does nothing for magnification.
This is just a cheap web cam and is completely useless for what I needed.
Going back today.
EDIT:
They are now offering me $30 to remove my review. Fat chance!
This thing is a $5 web cam, at best.
