I have a library full of Jackie books - good, bad and ugly. I'd put this into the indifferent category. I'm not a huge fan of Carly Simon but now even less so. I think, from what I've read, that the friendship between her and Jackie wasn't as close or important as she likes to think. I learned absolutely nothing new about Jackie - she was elegant, she dressed simply, she was creative, she was intelligent....blah, blah. The writing is as others have said - disjointed, childish, strange, hard to follow. I feel silly now having looked forward to this book and preordering. Should've waited for it to be in the bargain bin.
