Once again, TurboTax is sticking it to those with self-employment income. After the disaster of two years ago, I thought they had learned! For years, the Deluxe product has included both Schedule C and Schedule SE, which are essential to filing taxes if you have any income as an independent contractor, clergy, or sole-proprietorship. If your business is simple, these forms are all you need - but TurboTax now requires that we pay DOUBLE for the "Home and Business" edition to get access to Schedule SE (self-employment tax). Check the list of forms included - Schedule SE is only available with Home and Business. I don't need all of those bells and whistles! I just need THESE TWO FORMS. Why does it have to be so hard? So disappointed.
