Based upon the summary, I thought we were going to have a strong no nonsense female character. Nope... The MC is weak in soooo many ways. It's pathetic. She lets everyone dictate her life. Also the whole... you are going to have our kids blah blah blah BS. Like no one even asks her what she wants. They literally kidnap and tell her what her future is going to be like and she JUST GOES ALONG WITH IT!!! .... Like what!? The storyline was somewhat interesting but I can't stand a Protagonist with no back bone. The whole thing makes me cringe. Obviously I am one of only a few to give this book a bad review. So if you like the whole damsel in distress thing, shifters and all that - you will like it all right. Perhaps even love it. However, if you are like me and enjoy an ass kicking female that actually make the men in her life earn her love - I suggest you look elsewhere. This character is no alpha female in a paranormal world that seems ruled only by alpha males.... cue eyeroll. The author is good, but based on this book alone.... I have no urge to look into any other books by this author. Just not my cup of tea.
