I replaced the battery in my heart rate monitor with an Amazon Basics battery and thought my heart rate monitor was broken. I then replaced my heart rate monitor and put an Amazon Basics battery in the new heart rate monitor and the new monitor didn't work. I then went to a convenience store to get the same CR2032 Lithium Coin Cell batteries and now I have two working heart rate monitors. The CR2032 Lithium Coin Cell batteries from Amazon are duds. I told this story to someone at the gym and they said they had the same experience but the batteries they had were either already dead or had half of the life of a reputable brand. DON'T BUY THESE! - Pay the extra for a battery that actually works or else you will end up with two heart rate monitors like me :)
