I was so excited when I first got these! I'd been looking for quality sewing scissors, that also act as nippers, for a long while now. Then I came across these and regardless of who was selling them they had 5 stars! How could I go wrong? Right? Wrong!!! They cut and nipped beautifully, but when I went to trim up a thin piece of felt, in no way 'hard' material, the handle fell apart! They didn't break in the place scissors usually break either. The 'finger hole', for lack of a better definition, just broke off! I was by NO means abusing or otherwise trying to cut steel here! I use them primarily to cut thread and nylon stretchy string. And I got them less than a month ago! Sad too, because they cut beautifully! So pretty too. What a shame. (I gave em 2 stars for blade sharpness) I'm trying to figure out how to send a pic. If I don't get it attached here it may come later. If anybody can recommend a nice sewing scissor I'd be more than grateful!
