Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I never write reviews but here we go. I have used a 3 barrel device Like this since 2009. They normally last forever and I’ve only had to use two other devices before my last one broke and I bought this one. I thought it was cute I saw that there is a ton of reviews and I figured that it would be OK and would be similar to my last one. I was wrong. As you can see in my video this design is actually opposite of any ones I’ve ever used before where normally the lever with your thumb is to close the mechanism instead of opening it. I bring this up because as I was cramping my hair I noticed that I couldn’t have as much hair in my separated sections into the device as I normally would with my old one because it wouldn’t close very tightly it was very loose. Not to mention that before I even could put a first section of my hair into the crimper I burned my finger. I do admit that this is slightly my own user error because I moved the kickstand all the way to the back so it was touching the heat what I had set it on the counter to wait for it to get to its desired temperature. however, that’s a ridiculous design if it’s going to basically move back-and-forth 180°, because I cannot be the only one that’s going to burn their finger thinking that you can put the kickstand all the way to the heat. he does stand up straight if you leave it at I need degrees which is cool but the pain has already set in. The other reason I burned my finger was because the lever where you’re going to put your thumb is very short and so close to the heat that you’re back fingers are going to be basically touching the kickstand. So not only did I push the kickstand too close to the heat but I inevitably have almost no choice but to touch that metal part in order to get like a good grip on this device. You can see how different this devices with the lever and the length of the lever compared to my old device where your fingers are not anywhere near the heat source. I am returning this I don’t want another one from this company I do not support this brand.
