When I got it, it looked like a plunger, one very similar to my old trusty plunger that ive used for over 10 years. That one finally split down the side and I replaced it with this one. Well, tonight was the night. After a solid 6 or 7 weeks of sitting idly next to my toilet, I finally needed its service....and it failed miserably. Every time you pushed down to 'plunge', it got stuck inside out refusing to return to its ready position. I would have to try and carefully catch the inside out toilet paper coverd, poopy water holding plunger on the rim of the toilet over and over trying to get it to return to the start position. Eventually when it did, you would get splashed by the very substance you are trying to plunge. Not pleasant. After about 5 minutes of repeatedly getting stuck in the inverted position and untold amounts of splashing. I finally finished what should have been a 10 second job. I have never plunged a toilet that i immediately felt the need to shower after clearing the blockage. I definitely would recommend spending a few more dollars and getting a better more properly designed plunger. This one will be going into the trash.
