In a nutshell, this is what you get. You want vomit? You don't get one example of vomit, you get another, and then another, and then more and more and more and drugs and drink. You want violence? You get murder and evil and bitterness from characters that never did this before, whose backstory is essentially erased in pursuit of an agenda. You want swearing? You get that too - against the titular character, so you can feel disrespect and a form of elder abuse in a pseudo-Star Fleet which willingly abides genocide and racism and evil as a badge of virtue. Finally, you get humiliation, because this is a porn S*M novella based mini-series whose sole purpose is to desecrate a character many used to know and love. Not anymore! If that's what you want, this is the show for you, but there is no way this would have been done without a streaming service where ratings are irrelevant and writing can be anything somebody with agenda wants it to be.
