While the written description clearly states that this product is made from 18/10 stainless steel, IT IS NOT. When I received this product I was surprised that the packaging did not mention 18/10. So I e-mailed Norpro, the manufacturer. They told me that it is 18/0 stainless steel. Huge difference. People buy 18/10 because testing has shown that it leaches little or no nickel, etc. into food.
