This is a great coffee put. HOWEVER, it is unfortunate that we live in a time when the general policy is suck as much money out of the consumer as possible, while giving the absolutely least quality possible at the price point. In an effort to save money, this company eliminated the age old glass bubble on top, as well as the indicator light. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to tell when the coffee is ready, unless you either touch the hot metal to feel the bumps as it percs (or lack thereof), or putting your ear close enough to the hot metal to hear it (or not). As a result I am sending it back and buying a different brand that has at least one of these essential features. HOW COULD THEY BE SO STUPID????
