Might be good if you have plenty of money
This is a cute way to introduce another side of the monopoly franchise to casual gamers. This game takes the popular hotels and properties from the monopoly series and turns it into a time management game. You know the ones, build, wait, get money, & repeat.
Now where does this go wrong? There are so many things. Im not against having a premium form of currency, all these games have that. What I am upset about is that for the most part the only way to get premium currency is to buy it. There are quests you can complete and your reward may be only 1 Gold. Monopoly money is the basic currency and it is plentiful. So plentiful that it rains from the sky. Still you wont be able to get much with the basic currency as 75% of what you need, takes gold. Now you've finally saved up the money to buy a basic room for your hotel, be ready to save up more. This is the only time management game where you have to buy the same room 2-3 times. As with most of these games you can use the premium currency to speed things up, Im not wasting my gold on that. Ive waited 5-12 hours, only to find I have to plop down at least half the cost of the room for painting. Ive spend 20K monopoly money to buy the room, now I pay again for step 2? Im trying to hold in there and hope that when I get more hotels the money will be easier to get. After a couple days playing I still only have 1 hotel & have waited 2 days to get enough money to finish one room.
This seems standard practice with EA games and it doesnt help with all the EA advertisements that pop up as well. Dont shove ads at me then not even let me have some premium currency to buy anything. This game will more than likely be deleted & I'll go back to playing My little Pony, Simpsons tapped out, and Tiny Monsters.
