The best part of this book is the idea, which the author got from an online post. I had such high hopes for this novel, but it did not meet my expectations. Dash Hoffman, the author, states that he writes his novels in about a week, and his writing shows it -- the plot and characters are lacking in depth. But most upsetting of all, the author discourages sharing his novel with others. There is a disheartening (and a bit greedy) note before the story starts telling you to buy your own copy of the book, and by some heinous mistake the novel was given to you after someone else read it, by reading it you are doing something wrong. It wasn't the most inviting way to start a book, and I was a little disgruntled that I spent money to buy it.
