The map that comes with it is so basic, doesn't even have main streets in my area, I found it useless, thus I spent some more money on the SW 24k TOPO map downloadable directly from Garmin, unlike what the description states, there is not enough space to fit the map on this device, spend some more money on a card (4G) from Garmin amazon and it still states not enough space. No where in the instructions does it tell you the requirements of the storage of this map. Had to pay a few dollars to return the GPS, Card and Holder. Very disappointed in this product as I had a Garmin hiker about 12 years ago and it worked great and had no issues loading maps. Will now have to fight with Garmin to refund the download that I was never able to download ($99).
