It's light it's flimsy and totally unsafe. I bought this last year and didn't get around to using it until this week. My first effort to sear and then indirectly cook a chicken breast almost resulted in a trip to the hospital. I used 8 coals and then moved the meat to the side without the charcoal and put the lid on. When I went to remove the lid, it was too hot to touch. Good thing I checked before I reached for it. Today I tried a hand made burger. The grid is just too cheap and flimsy. I think that rather than struggling with this unit I'll just invest in a small scale Weber.
