We bought one of these back in 2009, and it lasted seven years, did a fine job. When it started dying (struggling with pressure) we got another, and what a piece of junk.the second one was, both for steaming milk and making espresso. Even brand new it was working worse than the dying one. Maybe they switched to cheaper parts? The new one had been on the shelf as a backup, so it was too late to return. I went with the Mr. Coffee machine instead, and it's been way better. This DeLonghi machine is junk. (Follow up 2021) The Mr coffee machine has turned out to be a much better investment. I've been using it multiple times per day all through covid lockdown with great results.
