One year later: These have worn very poorly. They aren’t in an industrial kitchen. They’re in my home with only myself, husband and teenage daughter. They look like they were on the start line of the Boston Marathon, and everyone was required to step on it to qualify. The printing on the mats has rubbed off terribly. I absolutely do NOT recommend these mats. They started bad and ended bad. Original review: These were much smaller than I was expecting. Yes, I saw the dimensions, but I was expecting it to be somewhat close to the image in the pictures. It’s not. They are very narrow and the longer of the two is still quite short. They look comically small in my kitchen. Beyond this, the pattern is printed askew on the mat. Finally, these things slide all over the place. They don’t slide out from under me but I am constantly having to move it back into place. It’s annoying. I should have returned them, but I kept these when I got them because I thought a rug mat underneath would fix it. It didnt. These might be good for an rv or camper or in a small narrow kitchen. Otherwise, I would recommend measuring out exactly what 18x47 looks like and judge for yourself how it will look.
