I hope everybody that brought one of these GPS's had better luck then I did with mine! I received mine for Christmas updated it and put it away until this summer to use on vacation. But it kept turning off if the car was turned off so I just plugged it in to the out let that was on all of the time so it would stay on. So half way home it want off and every time I pushed the on/off button it came on and it would go right off again. I think there is a short in the power wire or the battery is bad. I have brought four or five GPS's from Amazon over the last ten years and had no problems with them. So make sure you check it out good when you receive it so if you need to return it you can do so right away
