★★☆☆☆
Really bad unless you do have a deficiency
Vitamin A is good for vision so I ordered this because I'm older and I know I don't get enough Vitamin A from my diet. I thought I did my research but seems like I fell short. Most people don't need more than 750mcg a day so I cut my pills in half. I knew that too much Vitamin A can damage the liver. I'm giving it 2 stars because the company only lists benefits and not side effects. After taking it for two weeks I started having problems with blurred vision. It never occurred to me that 750mcg could be too much. I stopped taking it and my vision cleared up. I assume the only way you can tell if you need Vitamin A is through a blood test. The liver stores Vitamin A and as you age the liver is less able to remove it from the bloodstream which can make it toxic. Also, after more research I found that the best and safest way to get Vitamin A is from beta-carotene which converts to Vitamin A in the body.
