I bought this model because I liked the idea of a back-lit cuff, but was very disappointed by the wide fluctuations in readings. My mother has high blood pressure and I got systolic BP readings of 186, 246, 161 taken over a period of 1 hr while she was seated and relaxed. I knew those were way off because the nurse had been taking them regularly over the prior week and they were in the 150 range. On myself, readings ranged from 99 to 131. Unacceptable.
