I LOVE my BabylissPro NanoTitanium Prima 3100 straightening iron, so I thought purchasing the comparable curling iron would yield similar results. My first signal that this curling iron would be inferior to my straightening iron should have been the huge difference in price (~$40 vs. ~$180). This is certainly a case of "you get what you pay for," as this curling iron didn't even come close to the quality of the Babyliss straightening iron. The materials are cheap, and the temperature control has 1 through 52 (as opposed to the temperature in degrees). My hair usually takes heat styling pretty well, but my curls didn't hold at all with this curling iron. The surface of the curling iron isn't smooth, and my hair snagged a little. I bought the Hot Tools Black Gold from a store and absolutely love it. Don't waste your time or money with this curling iron. Spend the extra $20, and get that instead.
