We were very happy with this vacuum at first (and paid $185 for it!) as it's really effective and lightweight. However, it started falling apart quickly. First the cord rewind broke because the cord got tangled inside and we tried to pull it out - the repair shop said it would cost $80 to fix, so we decided to just leave it as is. Next the button which holds the tube to the side so you can remove it and do spot cleaning broke - and we had to duct tape the tube on. Now we can't use the attachments to spot clean. Finally the filter alert thing broke so it no longer tells you when it needs to be cleaned. All of these problems added up so that it makes the vacuum almost worthless now and we have to buy a new one only 5 months after our initial purchase.
