Wow, looks like all the good reviews here were astroturfed:[...] The problem here is that at its core, Mann simply doesn't practice science. Instead of starting with a falsifiable hypothesis, and looking for any observations that might prove him wrong, he takes the position that any observation can be explained by his theory. Warmer? Global warming. Colder? Global warming. The "head I win, tails you lose" proposition is misleading at best. Mann needs to get a refresher on basic science from Popper: [...]
