Warning! Following the directions to install this camera on your WiFi network is very dangers and leaves you vulnerable and open to malware and hackers. Let me start of by saying that I am a Security Analyst for an IT company. My job is to find hackers and malicious traffic on coporate and medical networks. The product reads great and please understand that most camera are vulnerable to hackers. Know this when I received the product I was very happy. The item is well built and the App is very nicely built and easy to follow. Until you try to install it on your network. At first I was having problems. Again I am an IT Specialist who is very knowledgeable of enterprise networks. So after trouble shooting my WiFi network, I looked at them minimal requirements that YI requires to connect it to your home WiFi. I was extremely shot and quickly knew I had to unplug the item from my network. YI require your network SSID & PASSWORD to have no special characters. Then they want you to removes all router access list black and white. Which in English means to remove all filters and security features that would block hackers from accessing your network and camera. To weaken your password of special charter means that any Password Cracker app or software can crack it quickly. Removing the filters from your network basically leaves the door wide open. Please read and educate yourself on network security before buying. It's not worth the risk.
