Terrible book. His political opinions had no place in this book.
His political opinions and bashing of Donald Trump added nothing to this story except to show how biased he is. His opinions are none of my business just as my opinions are none of his business. By inserting these bashing hate filled comments in a book meant for pleasure reading he showed how little he respects the readers who made him famous. We hear enough bias and hatred on a daily basis towards both sides. I don’t care to have it pushed in my face in what should have been a pleasurable read. It’s really turned me off of buying any more of his books. I own all of his books in first trade editions and am currently looking to sell them as I will no longer support a man who can’t keep his pettiness to himself. I don’t like Trump either but I would never have done what Stephen King did. It was petty and hateful.
