This door lock is very hit and miss for us. We ordered 2 of them and they were very easy to set up. Especially for those of you with doors that are single hole. With that said entering a code was easy. Instructions are easy to follow and written well. Unfortunately there is are giant con. No key for if and when the battery dies. It comes with a strange back up battery that you add 4 batteries to and keep wit you add all times. It's like your back up key but with all time she extra bulk. A complete pain in the butt. But you must keep this device with you for when the door batteries die. Would have been way easier to just include a back up key. Idiotic if you ask me. Other cons are that sometimes the door doesn't register the entry and won't let you in. This happens more often than it should. I also have to turn the knob 2 or 3 times before it unlocks. If I am too slow I miss the entry and have to start over. I'm start fan of things making life simple But this is more aggrivating than helpful.
