I was attracted to this book because my daughter loves anything pink. I almost bought it online without seeing it first and now am very glad that I went to a local store and read the book before ordering it. In a nutshell, the main character in this book is rude, disrespectful and disobedient. She sticks her tongue out at her mother and willfully disobeys her mother's direction. She is sassy and rude. She also never suffers any real consequences for her belligerent behavior. These are not the values I want to pass on to my children. If you are on the fence, I encourage you to go to a local store and read this book before purchasing it. You will be surprised at what you read.
