WAIT, this is the END???
If you love this series, and want to know how it ends. Buy the book. You're going to find yourself here writing a hate review later on though about how the author ended things with the series. I wasn't REALLY ticked off until I saw that this was the LAST book in the series. I don't think an author has EVER made me angrier than this one did by ending this series in this way. I will never pick up another book by her. I actually feel betrayed by this book and author. I don't know what else I can say. Below is why: ***This review contains HUGE spoilers, and you may not want to read on.*** Ok. It would SHOCK me if this author were a mother. There's no way any real mother could make the choices Eug had to make the way she did. NO WAY. That's the first thing that ticked me off. ***HUGE SPOILER ALERT*** Um. What REAL mother could leave her newborn twins in the NICU weeks after they were born early, for MONTHS on end to save the "Other" world??? Babies STILL IN the NICU people. Seriously. NOT gonna happen. In the LAST FEW pages, we find out that Dorian is the real baby daddy. And Eug decides to NOT tell him, ever???? But still love and be with him as a couple? "Oh, by the way...I am never telling you where the babies are, cause even though the BIG threat is over, they still MIGHT not be safe. So I'm just gonna leave them ALL THE TIME, and come here for months on end while I take care of my kingdoms and be your lover. Hope you can live with that. Luv ya babe!" She made this HUGE to-do about not being able to trust Dorian through the entire series...in the end, the joke was on HIM. If I could rate this book NEGATIVE stars, I think I would.
