I love these shoes... The color, fit and comfort are all excellent, the leather is good quality and they wear well. Why the 3 stars? I'm 3 months into wearing them and one of the buttons popped off! These are functional buttons so now the shoe is useless until I can manage to find a repalecement that will work, but not likely match. Disappointing for such a spendy pair of shoes. Update: Clarke's customer service responded that they will take no responsibility for the faulty item and suggested I take the shoe to a cobbler for the button repair, which they will not reimburse. I have changed the review to 2 stars, as it doesn't really matter how wonderful the shoes were before the button broke if they are unwearable less than 3 months after purchase.
