If you ever want to read about a woman being constantly referred to as Help while also being treated like trash this book is for you. Vic treats Emilia like actual garbage growing up because he's playing a game and she didn't even realize she was participating. And that somehow him treating her that way should be fine because he's a victim of abuse himself but, here's a newsflash: IT'S NOT. Being a victim yourself does not give you free reign to hurt other people. Not when you're 14 and definitely not when you're nearing 30. I really wish Emilia could've found someone else who deserved her because Vic did not. He didn't deserve any woman and neither do his friends who treat all women like warm wet holes until they're bored. To say I won't be reading any of the books after this is probably a given.
