These chairs, although significantly smaller than they appear in the pictures, are very nice to look at. We bought two. However, after only a couple months one of the frames completely collapsed throwing the occupant to the ground. They were of average weight and sat down gently (as we encouraged everyone to when sitting on these chairs) and yet it failed spectacularly in one snap, the seat of the chair severing in the front by the legs. When I took apart the chair I observed the flimsy frame that had cracked, unfixable by mere mortals. The other chair has soldiered on for two more months but we now barely ever use it, for obvious reasons. I really wanted to like these chairs, but it seems that the beauty is only skin deep. :(
