I tried to replace a Cuisinart, where the the plastic pieces eventually broke after several years. I thought I would save some money, and after reviewing the reviews on Hamilton Beach, I thought it was worth a try...I was wrong. This is the worse food processor I have ever used. Yes, it has two speeds - Fast and Super Human fast...neither work when you are trying to grade cheese etc. It also came with only one blade, which means everything, and I mean everything is going to be butchered...and not the way I wanted it. I tried to surprise my wife, and all i did is make her mad, by replacing a good quality product, with a piece of crap. If you love your wife, then don't purchase this item...ever! P.S. Even though Amazon normally has a 60 day return policy, for some reason the return button / option is missing, so even worse!!!!
