Do NOT purchase this product. There are multiple reasons why I would never suggest this to anyone: I have a two year old lab/mix who weighs 56 pounds. The reviews on this shock collar were great. From what I read, it was easily adjustable and my dog would be "changed" after wearing it. I purchased this with the sole purpose of using at the dog park. I wanted to be able to control my dog when she was in a "dog pile." The first time I took her out, she acted great so I never had to "punish" her. The second time was very unsuccessful. I tried vibrating and she was completely unresponsive. I bumped it up to level 50 and she still didn't bat an eye. So I tried the shock method (only because I tried it on myself at level 2) and again, she didn't flinch. I bumped up the shock level to 10 and she still didn't react. I didn't feel comfortable going any higher because she has heart arrhythmia. I decided to just take her home and try again after I could test the collar on myself more in depth. When I got home, I took her collar off of her to charge it. After removing the collar, I noticed some of her fur was wrapped around the prongs and a bad odor was coming from it. It was also somewhat moist like my dog had been sweating profusely. I checked out my dog's neck and was disgusted. Her fur was singed and her skin was showing, an obvious burn. My dog wouldn't let me get close to it, which is not like her since her neck is one of her favorite places to be scratched. Never again, would I ever think about using or recommending this product. Again, this collar has good reviews, but I would not risk burning my dog ever again. Think twice before ordering.
