My wife and I wanted to upgrade from our traditional mattress. I thought this would be a good buy based on the reviews, and the fact that we had really loved the memory foam topper that we got 2 years ago.(Foamex Areus) Not so. I was concerned that it would be too soft, and that we (particularly I, being well over 200lbs) would sink in readily. On the contrary, I never got the pleasant sinking feeling I had felt on softer mattresses. (friend has a Cloud Tempurpedic) I've read in some reviews that it takes a few weeks to to break in, so we gave it some time, but my shoulders and back continue to hurt, as do my wifes. We will be returning it, I wanted a mattress to help my back feel better, not worse. The root issue is that the foam density is not specified in the item description. Just too firm for us.
