I bought this item because of the great reviews but was very disappointed overall. The packaging was cool however excessive and wasteful. But most importantly, it does not even suck up cat litter. If you run over debris on the backstroke, it just flings it backward. Moving forward, it would take 3, 4 or 5 passes to pick up a few tiny rocks of cat litter. Then I found that it didn't even have enough suction to pull the litter all the way up the tube, so unless I flipped the whole thing upside down while still on, the cat litter would just fall out of it back onto the floor once the power was cut off. I gave it a good try though...should have just gone with the Dyson I wanted all along and I don't think I can even return this now. :(
