Update: You cannot turn off the LED and a marker just does not darken it enough. Horrible, distracting design flaw. Blinks when playing... Has the most annoying LED indicator light ring on top of it that you cannot turn off which distracts from the flame effect. Literally have to use a permanent marker to hide it. Sound quality is meh, even for a cheap speaker. Flame is cool but is outshined by that frustrating LED light.
