I bought this for my 240# body. I need something I can stand on to get boxes from the rafters, change a light bulb, wash windows, get to the roof of my truck to wash it. I have been looking at $200+ rated for my weight and got excited when I found this one. I based my decision on the reviews, I ignored the 1 bad about it's flimsiness, I'm sorry I did that. I could see it was made out of light duty metal when I pulled it out of the box, I could feel it's looseness holding it. On the first step it shook, as I put a foot on the second step it felt totally unsafe. I went no farther, put it back in the box, got a shipping label and sent it back. I suppose you could put a 300# person on a cardboard box just right and claim it holds 300#, and I think that's all they did to label this ladder at 330#. This ladder DOES NOT HOLD MY WEIGHT WITHOUT SHAKING, IT WOULD NOT LAST LONG WITH ME USING IT(nor would I). The steps are narrow and light duty plastic. I don't think anyone would feel comfortable on the top step as the picture on the box shows, it's just not stable, or well made.
