The plastic whistling top keeps MELTING! This is seriously aggravating, by the time the kettle is whistling, when I go to pull the top off it's melted each time. Not only does it melt and warp, it leaves melted plastic on the glass kettle, right where I'm pouring my water. Since I'm not into drinking/eating BPA and melted plastic, I'm tossing the whistling top and just using the glass kettle. That really says something about the quality. It's a whistling kettle and it can't even get to whistling without melting.
