Updated after multiple attempts
9/18/22 update: this could just be the gallon issue, but it is an issue! The first gallon set I purchased some weird things started happening to my projects. I was getting film and dull areas. I asked if it was possible the pump system somehow introduced air to the jug and degraded the resin- they said no and reluctantly sent a replacement. At first that batch was fine too- and to be safe I opted not to use the pump this time as I suspected that might have caused quality issues. Well I began to have the same issues the more I used the resin. As I mentioned, I am aware of all the variables that affect resin and I was diligent yet kept getting unsatisfactory results. There was always a dull film across the projects. I ended up switching brands cause who has time or money to keep wasting? A few months later I was going to use the rest of it cause I was low on my other brand and noticed that the hardener had white flakes/chunks in it. So it definitely is the resin, as the room was 76° and this resin was changing in its own jug. I take back my recommendation or suggest you only but smaller bottles you will use relatively quickly. The gallons present issues after a while and it’s too expensive to keep ruining projects with. I’ve since switched brands entirely since the price had gone up while quality has not.

I really like this resin. So much that I ordered the pro kit after using 2 of the 34oz kits rather quickly. I found it very easy to work with. It is not bubble free however, there will definitely be some micro bubbles and I take care to stir slowly. It is mostly clear though!! And has a beautiful finish. It is a 1:1 ratio.
I have a sensitive sense of smell and do not find this formula loud or overbearing.
I did not like the wide mouth of the smaller jars and I had to adjust for that when pouring into small cups, however I love that the 2 liters come with pumps instead.
I saw a person mention that there is more hardener than resin. My two theories is 1 they want to make sure you need to buy more
(cause how else would you use the extra hardener?) or 2 they are just over filling the hardener but not scamming you out of product. I have personally weighed both and they ARE giving you exactly what you ordered just EXTRA. Why it is not equal I don't know but you are actually getting 75.6 oz of resin and 77oz of hardener- this satisfies the 67.63 oz that 2 liters actually is.. so.. there🤷🏾♀️ It's not a scam- don't trust your eyeballs to measure.
I also see people saying their project is rubber like. That is almost always user error. And user error is blindly trusting your measuring tools without verifying accuracy. I can almost bet the cups you are using aren't true, especially the flimsy ones that come in some kits. Rubbery epoxy is either uncured and needs more time due to the fact that it was a thick pour OR it won't ever cure due to an unbalanced mixture. The epoxy does not come pre-mixed..so I don't see how what you do after it leaves the bottle is a strike against the manufacturer. Use proper measurements and get proper results. Also your environment is a HUGE determinant as well! You can not just mix epoxy then set it and forget it without being mindful of where it is and how warm/cold/HUMID the environment is. What you add to the mixed resin and how MUCH is also a determinant and that can also prolong or disrupt the curing process. Larger batches also have a shorter working time too. Keep all those often undisclosed factors in mind when reading bad reviews about resins.
