After spending an embarrassing amount of time researching non toxic travel mugs, I decided to let curiosity get the best of me and ordered the 12 oz JOCO cup in mint. The one good thing about this product is the design, it looks great. BUT, be aware that the lid and cozy are NOT 100% food grade silicone! When I received the product and removed the lid, some of the material came off around the lip of the glass cup. And, when applying the twist/pinch silicone test, the "silicone" turns white. This is a little known trick to find out if your silicone product contains filler, most often some kind of plastic (and being manufactured in China, who knows what it is). They tout themselves as "Clean and Green," but what is the product really made out of? I'm sorry to say that I'll have to return this product and begin my search again, but food and health safety are of the utmost importance, and I would assume if you are looking for a reusable coffee cup like this, you probably feel the same way.
