Jump the shark
I love Pendergast, have read all the books and look forward every year for the next book. I liked this book till 70% and then I had absolutely no desire to pick it up and finish. But I did and let me tell you, the story went off the rails. It was just crazy and made no sense and I did not care one bit what happened.How could these authors ruin a book so throughly.
