There is no virtue to all these functions into one device
I wouldn't recommend you buy the Foodi. Do this instead. Buy the individual components: air fryer, slow cooker, pressure, steamer rice cooker. They'll perform faster and more thoroughly. And you'll come out ahead in cash. The slower cooker took too long. 2 hours and still rawish. Had I cooked a whole chicken, it might have made me sick. Ninja!! food must reach 140 degrees within 30 minutes tops. Crock pot temps for low is higher than your high setting. Why does slow cook heat the sides only and not the bottom? Why is the pan bowed upward? Juice drainage? Flop. The pressure cooker on high took almost twice as long. The Faberware cooker did it in half the time. I am sooo disappointed with the failures of this do everything be everything cook everything cooker. Air frying with juices and pan full of liquids is slattery messy with a jet air steam and risky if oils splatter into the red hot burners within the cover. Just buy the individual products. There is no virtue for an all in one cooker when you can have higher quality individual components instead.
I think the problem is the Foodi is designed for large meal. Now come on Ninja. Scale it into half the size. We don't cook but for 1 or 2. I'd buy it if you would that and fix your slow cooker and pressure cooker functions. 140 degrees 30 minutes tops. I don't think I can even gift it away. I don't think the slow cooker function is food safe. And the air fryer may turn out messy and ruined.
Ninja you are a top notch company. Here, you feel off the rails.
