There are too many positive reviews on this product, which is why I bought it. Now it needs a critical review. Look at the pictures I posted. Adjusting the hex nut does NOTHING to tighten the gap here, believe me I tried. Look at how much gap there is. I would hope nobody thinks tightening that allen will bend the metal "closed", but some people actually stated that in the questions. Impossible. I'm actually considering taking it apart and adding a greased flat washer in there so that when I twist, it isn't just touching two points but bearing against the whole surface. Shouldn't have to modify a brand new tool... this is just sloppy manufacturing tolerances. That said, it probably works fine (until it doesn't because of excessive wear from those pressure points). Shimming it will make the tool last longer, even if you have to occasionally replace the shim.
