Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I was hoping for something a lot better without any hassle. There is something all over these rocks (some type of grime). Seems like the rocks came from a filthy fountain or mucky stream. The directions indicate to use boiling water to clean them before using, and believe me, it wasn't as simple as it sounds. I had to keep rinsing rinsing and use boiling water on the rocks three times, in addition to using bleach and antibacterial spray on them numerous times. I unfortunately did these rinses in my kitchen sink and in a stainless steel bowl, and now I'm having trouble getting those clean. These rocks really should be listed for "Outdoor Use Only". I won't be using these rocks inside my house at all, even though I bought them to place at the base of a candle holder/hurricane. They will probably be put into a planter outside. I think it would be worth buying polished rocks from a nursery or craft store if you plan to use for any candle or plant project. Lastly, these rocks are also not "vibrant" at all. They are very small and dull. Nothing like the picture. Once the grime is finally off, they are a dull gray. I was buying decorative rocks from a nursery before trying these, and I will probably just go buy them there again, as they are also cheaper and are nicely polished. Would not buy again or recommend these rocks. Really disappointed in this product.
